Impact Climbing Inc. is one of North America’s leading designers and manufacturers of commercial climbing walls, bouldering walls, ninja courses, and adventure-based fitness environments. For more than 18 years, we have designed, engineered, manufactured, and installed projects across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Our clients include climbing gyms, schools, universities, municipalities, recreation centres, military facilities, camps, resorts, commercial developers, and private organizations. Every project is custom designed and manufactured in-house by our experienced team.

We are entering an exciting period of growth and are looking for an ambitious Sales & Business Development Representative to help expand our commercial climbing wall business while developing a national dealer and distribution network for our outdoor Boulder Blocs product line throughout Canada and the United States. This is not a traditional sales role. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to build long-term relationships, create opportunities, and become a key contributor to the future growth of Impact Climbing.

Position Summary

The Sales & Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, developing dealer and distributor partnerships, and representing Impact Climbing throughout North America. You will work directly with leadership and collaborate with our design, engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to help move projects from initial inquiry through contract award. This position is based full-time at our Milton, Ontario office and requires regular travel throughout Canada and the United States.

Primary Responsibilities

+

Sales & Business Development​

• Develop new commercial climbing wall opportunities throughout Canada and the United States.

• Prospect new clients through networking, outreach, referrals, and industry research.

• Build relationships with municipalities, architects, recreation departments, schools, universities, climbing gyms, developers, camps, military facilities, and commercial clients.

• Identify and secure opportunities for both new construction and renovation projects.

• Follow up on incoming leads quickly and professionally.

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.

• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and client follow-ups.

• Negotiate contracts while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Dealer & Distribution Development​

A major responsibility of this role will be expanding our dealer network for Impact Climbing’s Boulder Blocs outdoor climbing products.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting qualified dealers throughout Canada and the United States.

• Developing long-term distributor relationships.

• Presenting dealership opportunities.

• Training dealers on our products and sales process.

• Supporting dealers throughout the sales cycle.

• Growing dealer territories and helping maximize their success.

Client Presentations

You must be comfortable speaking in front of clients and groups.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering professional presentations.

• Conducting Lunch & Learn presentations for architects, landscape architects, municipalities, recreation departments, schools, and commercial organizations.

• Presenting at conferences and industry events.

• Hosting product demonstrations.

• Representing Impact Climbing with confidence and professionalism.

Industry Representation

You will represent Impact Climbing at various industry events including:

• Trade shows

• Conferences

• Dealer meetings

• Client events

• Networking events

• Industry associations

Travel throughout Canada and the United States will be required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following industries:

• Commercial climbing

• Indoor climbing gyms

• Recreation

• Fitness

• Construction

• Commercial construction

• Landscape construction

• Landscape architecture

• Parks and recreation

• Playground industry

• Adventure recreation

• Boat building or marine renovation

• Architectural products

• Commercial building products

Previous B2B sales experience is highly preferred.

• Commercial estimating

• Commercial sales

Knowledge of AutoCAD, construction drawings, or architectural plans is considered an asset but is not required.

Travel Requirements

• Willingness to travel throughout Canada and the United States

• Attend overnight meetings and trade shows

• Visit client job sites

• Conduct dealer visits

• Attend conferences and networking events

Applicants must have:

• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence

• Valid Passport

• Ability to travel within Canada and the United States

• Ability to work full-time from our Milton office

• Legal authorization to work in Canada

Compensation

+

• Base Salary: $60,000 annually + commission (current sales are 7 figures)
